Harvi Student

Harvi-Student is an introductory textbook and simulation designed for medical and graduate students, but could be used by students at all levels! It includes a basic textbook that covers all of the key concepts for understanding cardiovascular physiology and basic pathophysiology. A Try-It-Now library allows students to interact with single parameters of cardiovascular function. Guided tutorials help students navigate through the textbook and simulation. Self-assessment questions help students gauge their mastery of these key concepts. Topics include: Basics of Cardiovascular Anatomy and Myocellular Physiology; Basics of Pressure-Volume Analysis; Introduction to Cardiac Pathophysiology (valve disease, pericardial tamponade, heart failure, and myocardial ischemia), and Introduction to Blood Gases.
