Harvi Professor
Harvi-Professor provides access to additional output panels, graphs and alternate display options. See “Compare Versions of Harvi” table below for a summary of all of the advanced features. This version, intended for lecturers of advanced courses and researchers, provides features that:
- Allow multiple, simultaneous graphic windows ideal for use in the lecture/classroom setting. A “teacher” window can be viewed on one screen where simulation parameter settings are varied by the lecturer in real time, while a “student” window shown on a separate screen only displays hemodynamic graphs. This is ideal for interactive teaching.
- Allow saving hemodynamic signals displayed on the graphs in digital (.csv) files that can be imported into graphing programs to create high resolution PV and time-domain figures for presentations and publications.
- Allow saving of end-of-beat output variables for tracking hemodynamic changes following changes of model parameters.
- Enhance an investigator’s research in hemodynamics by allowing conduct of hemodynamic research in silico. Explore questions and hypotheses not possible to test in clinical or experimental settings. Perform experiments in silico before their actual execution in clinical or pre-clinical settings to anticipate results.
